Introduction

Xiva is a Damage type in Fate Trigger: The Novita.

Tucked away in a quiet village on Zheyan Mountain, Xiva’s family has watched over an ancient temple for generations. The temple is dedicated to a mineral named Corvite, named for the hypnotic blue-and-black flame that erupts when it is struck by lightning, which the people of Chongyao call the “Petrichor Flame”. Word of the wondrous mineral spread like wildfire, and its value skyrocketed. Chasing profit, the people of the village tore open the mountain to get at the Corvite beneath, causing a massive ecological disaster. Xiva’s parents leapt to the rescue, saving many, but paid with their own lives Xiva’s despair turned into anger when, lured by greed, the villagers resumed their rampant excavations before her parents’ ashes were even cold. On a stormy night, a vengeful Xiva guided lightning into a warehouse packed with raw Corvite, engulfing herself and the entire valley in the Petrichor Flame. She closed her eyes, welcoming the end, but when next she awoke, she found herself in an Oculus Principi laboratory…
